To conclude this year’s Biennale Matter of Art at the National Gallery Prague, the members of the community radio station Shella Radio have prepared a program featuring musical performances, DJ sets, and poetry readings.

sentimental club :3 is a very intentional show on Shella Radio. It showcases the softer side that every person has, pushing their vulnerability to the limits (as long as they’re open to it). The concept has taken over several “listening music” stages at different events, and it even hosted a Valentine’s Special this year in the Pluto room at Planeta Za.

For this occasion, sentimental club :3 will be presented in the National Gallery with a four-hour showcase in the very heart of the main exhibition hall, inside the central tent. The program features two DJ sets by Takenaga and patricccio, a hybrid set by Tokyo Drift, and a poetry break with Leon Cobra, Olga Wawracz, and Apolena Vybíralová.

Farewells, music, and poetry…

Takenaga and patricccio are long-time fixtures of the scene, deeply involved far beyond their work behind the decks—from shaping the sound of the spaces where they play to the communities built around them.

Apolena Vybíralová specializes in Czech and Hispanic studies. In 2023 she received the Vladimír Vokolek Literary Award for her poetry and was also a finalist for the František Halas Literary Prize. Her debut poetry collection Vzteklina [Rabies] was published by Bílý Vigvam in December 2024 and earned nominations for the Magnesia Litera for Poetry and the Jiří Orten Award.

Olga Wawracz is a poet, journalist, and multidisciplinary artist based in Brno. In their work they explore themes of climate grief, social justice, queerness, and the shared post-digital experience. Their debut book Komunitní rozměr [Community Dimension] was published by Větrné mlýny in 2024. They are a laureate of the Ortenova Kutná Hora literary prize. Wawracz is also a sound artist and DJ, and they recently won a Vinyla award for their music production. 

Leon Cobra is a self-proclaimed decorator of Prague’s night scenes.

Tokyo Drift blends honesty and intimacy with rap clichés and electroacoustic beats. On her debut album Scorpio Season she captured feelings of loneliness and urban routine, while her latest project, Konečně real, returns to songwriting and explores the limits of honesty. You may also know her voice from her collabs with Rohony or from the big screen in the film Džob.
