The biennale program comprises guided tours, performances, discussions, film screenings, and educational and mediation workshops for adults and children. Admission to most events is free of charge. Dozens of other events are scheduled until September 29.

The three-day opening weekend of the Biennale Matter of Art 2024 begins at 19:00 on Thursday June 13, 2024, with a public opening in the National Gallery Prague – Trade Fair Palace, which will feature performances by Antje Schiffers, The Rodina studio, the Peasants in Atmosphere project and the Lada choir. The program will continue in the Trade Fair Palace on Friday June 14, featuring artistic performances by Kateryna Aliinyk, björnsonova, Olia Sosnovskaya, and Elske Rosenfeld. The opening of the curatorial intervention at the Lidice Gallery will take place on Saturday, June 15, 2024.

An all-day event titled Talking to the Sun held at the Jednorožec ecological farm in the district of Roblín near Prague will be an artistic exploration of the farm and community celebration of the summer solstice for all those who wish to take a rest from their telephones and computers. The full-day program held on June 22 will include a drawing workshop for children, collective singing by the fire with the Choir of Life Co-op, an immersive performance by Kateřina Konvalinová and Lucie Rosenfeldová, as well as further programs for both children and adults.

The event Uprooting Ill Health focusing on mental health will take place from 15:00 on June 29 in the shade of the trees in the Bohnice Psychiatric Hospital Park. The venue for the event will be the new garden of the Institute of Anxiety, and also the V. kolona café. It will feature a lecture by Hannah Proctor, author of the book Burnout – The Emotional Experience of Political Defeat, a discussion with Apolena Rychlíková and Tomáš Uhnák about the mental health of farmers, and a concert by the artist, musician and podcast creator Peter Kolarčík.
