Vicky Krieps presented Love Me Tender at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, where she portrays the lead role

Directed by Anna Cazenave Cambet, the film follows the story of a former lawyer who fights for custody of her son after coming out as a lesbian. Love Me Tender was published in a Czech translation by Petra Zikmundová by tranzit.cz in May 2025 as part of the navigation series, which maps the major works of world feminist theory and literature. Krieps came to Karlovy Vary to present the film in person at the 59th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival and received the IFF KV Director's Award. The film was presented in Vary just two months after its world premiere at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival.
