Biennale Matter of Art 2024
FACTS
Biennale Matter of Art 2024 is curated by Katalin Erdődi and Aleksei Borisionok and organized by the initiative tranzit.cz in cooperation with the National Gallery Prague and the Lidice Art Collection. The exhibition is open from June 14 to September 29, 2024.
FREE ADMISSION
Admission to the exhibition as well as the public program is free of charge. Please note that the capacity of select events is limited.
VENUES AND ACCESSIBILITY
The biennale exhibition takes place at the National Gallery Prague – Trade Fair Palace and the Lidice Gallery. Accessible toilets, free drinking water, changing table, free Wi-Fi, and other facilities are available at the venues. Please see Venues for more details.
The biennale venues are wheelchair and stroller accessible. The content of the exhibition (videos, texts) is available in original with Czech and/or English translation. At the venues, you will find a comprehensive bilingual printed guide comprising textual descriptions of the exhibited artworks. The biennale guide is available free of charge.
GUIDEBOOK
Take a free copy of the red exhibition handbook (available at the Trade Fair Palace and the Lidice Gallery). In the guidebook, you will find detailed information about all the works on display and their artists. You can read about the artworks in the Artists section or view the pdf version of the guidebook online on your mobile device.

Tue–Sun: 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
The first Wednesday of every month 10 a.m.–8 p.m.
Lidice Gallery
Mo–Sun: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
PRESS ACCREDITATIONS
If you are interested in press or photo accreditation, please reach out to us by email at info@matterof.art. Professional accreditations are not issued. The press conference will take place on June 13, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. CET at the Trade Fair Palace in Prague.
