Sinclair Brazier is a multimedia artist and designer—born and raised in Harare, Zimbabwe, currently residing in Berlin, Germany. Their practice manifests through a diverse range of media, including performance, poetry, video, textile/clothing design, scenography, sculpture, painting, and collage. Through a methodology which they term “alchemical design,” they weave these elements together, an approach guided by the esoteric occult practice of alchemy: the experimental art of transmutation. World-building and theatricality are also relevant to this holistic attitude to creation; they consider the utility of enchantment by creating encounters with and portals to the fantastical.

Their work explores themes of personal and universal experience, including: non-dualism, folklore, fairy tales, myths, spirituality, post-coloniality, and queer and neurodivergent identity.
