Shella Radio (est. 2024) is an independent, community-driven platform dedicated to promoting and connecting diverse artists and cultural initiatives from Prague to the rest of the world. Founded in 2024, it provides both an online platform and a physical space for emerging voices at Planeta Za, and after nearly two years, its programming reflects a broad interpretation of what radio can be. From political talk shows and panel discussions to experimental video art, in-person listening sessions, club nights, and summer markets featuring local artists, jewelers, and tattoo artists, its work spans a wide spectrum with electronic music at its core.

As a collective, its members come from diverse backgrounds and skill sets, united by a commitment to connect the scene’s most talented voices to each other and to the rest of the world. A substantial part of this work involves documentation. The collective believes that recording discussions, interviews, and other spoken content is essential to painting a full picture of what is happening locally, because much of what makes Prague’s scene special is difficult to capture through DJ mixes alone.
