Liliana Zeic

Liliana Zeic (*1988, Poznań, Poland) is a visual artist based in Warsaw. She has been creating under the name Zeic since February 2021. Her artistic practice is rooted in queer feminism and queer ecology. She works with craft techniques, video, photography, object art, and text, creating intermedia and performative projects based on artistic research. Since 2020 she has increasingly reached for artisanal methods of work, mainly developing her own woodworking technique based on intarsia.

She was a finalist of the Forecast Forum at Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin in 2017, and she won the Audience Award in the 2019 Views competition at the Zachęta National Gallery of Art. She has taken part in over 160 individual and group exhibitions in Poland and abroad. Her works are held in private and public collections, including NOMUS New Art Museum, Zachęta National Gallery of Art, Wrocław Contemporary Museum, Arsenal Municipal Gallery, and Muzeum Sztuki in Łódź.
