On this Saturday, June 29, the park of the Bohnice hospital will host the event Uprooting Ill Health I., which is a part of the Biennale public program in colaboration with the Institute of Anxiety.

The program starts at 2 p.m. with gardening work in the Garden of the Institute of Anxiety. From 4 p.m., a discussion between journalist Apolena Rychlíková, and artist and researcher Tomáš Uhnák will ensue.  At 5 p.m., Hannah Proctor will introduce her book Burnout: The Emotional Experience of Political Defeat. To get an idea, you can listen to a podcast by the Verso book publishing house, where Hannah speaks to Ajay Singh Chaudhary about hope, exhaustion, and the emotional dimensions of radical politics.

In addition to her interest in histories, theories and practices of ‘radical psychiatry’ (broadly conceived) Hannah Proctor has also published on queer theory, wrinkles, rayon stockings, gender and the death drive, revolutionary motherhood, brain imaging software and communist pedagogy.

We will wrap up the program with a concert of Peter Kolárčik & a friend in the V. kolona café from 7 p.m.
