What kind of account of contemporary art was made by this year’s documenta in Kassel, the biennales in Venice and Berlin, and the Biennale Matter of Art? And what do these institutionally and structurally very different shows say about our present times? Hosted by Anna Remešová, the panel discussion will include Vjera Borozan, Ilona Németh, Václav Magid, and Světlana Malinová, and it will take place on Wednesday, October 12th at 6 p.m. at the Stone Bell House in Prague. The debate is organized by Artalk in cooperation with the Prague City Gallery and the Biennale Matter of Art. A video recording of the talk will be available online. Language accessibility: Czech

In the countries to which these artifacts have been displaced, they are already considered their own cultural heritage.” Subscribe to Raut on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and SoundCloud.
