Future of Emerging Europe Awards: Vote for the Biennale

Vote for the East Europe Biennial Alliance (EEBA) in the Future of Emerging Europe Awards 2021! Cast your vote before August 31st on the Emerging Europe website. The Alliance is nominated in the category of Regional Collaboration. We are thrilled that EEBA is being praised for “taking joint contraposition in the realm of culture to the ideological and political trends with proxy wars and an authoritarian avant-garde championing right-wing populism present in Eastern Europe over the last decade.”

EEBA was formed in 2019 and comprises the comprises Biennale Matter of Art Prague, Biennale Warszawa, Kyiv Biennial, OFF-Biennale Budapest and the Survival Kit Festival Riga. Its aim is to propose a different narrative of the East European region and redefine the way cultural institutions collaborate. Collectively, the allied biennales are curators of the upcoming edition of Kyiv Biennial, which will be held in autumn 2021.
