The opening of Biennale Matter of Art 2026 will take place on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 7 p.m. at the National Gallery Prague in the Trade Fair Palace. The exhibition will be inaugurated by Olga Kotková (director of the Collection of Old Masters and interim general director of the National Gallery Prague), Tereza Stejskalová (director of tranzit.cz), the curators of the Biennale—Jaroslava Tomanová, Jakub Gawkowski, and František Fekete—, and Monika Čejková (a curator at the National Gallery Prague). This event is part of the program of the first day of the Biennale opening weekend.
