The Biennale Matter of Art 2024 opening weekend continues on Friday, June 14 at the Trade Fair Palace. The björnsonova collective will present a special divination reading, followed by a guided tour with the curators and exhibiting artists, featuring artist talks. Artist and writer Kateryna Aliinyk, will share a new performance in the exhibition space. Elsewhere in the building, artist, researcher, and writer Olia Sosnovskaya will perform together with artist, author, and cultural worker Elske Rosenfeld. The opening weekend continues until June 15, with the opening of the exhibition at the Lidice Gallery. Admission to all events is free of charge.

The biennale is organized by the initiative tranzit.cz in cooperation with the National Gallery Prague and the Lidice Art Collection. The exhibition will run from June 14 to September 29, 2024. Admission to the opening, the exhibition, as well as the accompanying public program organised by tranzit.cz will be free of charge.
