Yana Bachynska, a.k.a. Jan Bačynsjkyj (*1991, Lviv, Ukraine) is a Ukrainian visual artist, curator, and film director based in Lviv, whose practice focuses on queering grand narratives. His work develops through induction, moving from individual experience toward collective structures while seeking forms of wholeness within contradictions.

He earned degrees in philosophy from the Taras Shevchenko National University of  Kyiv in 2013 and in multimedia from the Academy of Art in Szczecin in 2019. He is a cofounder of Queer.War.Archive (2023), and his works are held in private and institutional collections.
