Skjold Rambow (b.1999) likes to break illusions and be theatrical. Through his experience with performance, he creates works as a way to reflect upon expectations connected to entertainment. In his practice, he uses the real world as scenography through different media. He is interested in what elements create drama and poetry in everyday life, and how performing in public spaces affects personal perception. By approaching theater as a phenomenon, he uses his own body and self-narrative as a starting point to create works where he investigates the premises of entertainment and how settings assign value and roles to props and people.
