Larisa David (*1988) is a visual artist. She lived in Bucharest until 2016 when she moved to Rotterdam to complete her MFA at the Piet Zwart Institute. She creates performances, installations, videos, and scripts that use both found sources and her own writing. Her works address how power relations are produced and extend throughout society, affecting subjective narratives. This is an ongoing exploration which follows hidden or illegible moments from the past and present in order to reflect on ways of feeling and seeing that allow one to stray from the familiar.
