Glory Affairs is a collective driven by the desire to forge connections between friends and strangers. They combine elements from the fields of physical theater, sculpture, electronic and acoustic sound, new circus, hairdressing, film, painting, culinary arts, DJing, VJing, and costume design. They enjoy reimagining the traditional structures of sharing and experiencing art by reconceptualizing the environment in which they create miscellaneous audiovisual collages with interwoven media, questioning boundaries and pointing out hierarchies. The members all have in common the lived experience of family or individual migration to the Czech Republic. The group’s creative activities thus naturally touch on themes of belonging and the creation of temporary shared spaces as homes for the celebration of the diversity of self-expression and ordinary everyday life.
