Aliza Orlan (*1990, Bratislava) is a visual artist who lives and works in Bratislava. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava. She works with the mediums of drawing, textile installation, performance art, and poetry. Her work focuses on the topics of gender identity, body intimacy, sex, transformation, and the problems of binarity. Her current work and research focus on religions and their impact on gender fluidity.

Her recent group exhibition projects include Soaking in Each Other / Endocrine Regimes, Trafó, Budapest (2025); Sprouting, White & Weiss Gallery, Bratislava (2024); and Sensory Tales, Galerie Krinzinger, Vienna (2022). She has completed residencies at MuseumsQuartier in Vienna (2024) and Schaubmarov mlyn in Slovakia (2023), among others.

This residency was funded by the European Union (Culture Moves Europe) and the ERSTE Foundation.
