Biennale Matter of Art 2024, National Gallery Prague – Trade Fair Palace (c) Jonáš Verešpej

Come to the discussion Art Space (Un)limited, organized by tranzit.cz in cooperation with the Centre for Contemporary Art Prague on Wednesday 17 July at 18:30. Free entry.

The panelists will present different ways in which institutions approach inclusive and accessible work with audiences and the arts: the debaters will be Kryštof Hanzlík from the initiative Snížit kultuře práh (Lowering the Threshold for Culture which makes culture accessible to all), Anna Hořejší, creative director of the “permacultural” and community-driven European Capital of Culture České Budějovice 2028, Olivera Těsnohlídková, an academic who explores the potential of humour in the process of migrant integration, Barbora Kleinhamplová, founder of the curatorial-educational platform Institute of Anxiety, and Zai Xu, curator, artist and author from the SVĚTOVA 1 gallery. The evening will include meetings with organisations from Barcelona (La Escocesa Residency Centre), Pristina (Foundation 17), Graz (<rotor>) and Budapest (OFF-Biennale), whose curators and educators will also be present at the event.

The event is an output of the Art Space Unlimited project, co-financed by the European Union and supported by a grant from the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic.
