The performance is part of the event Uprooting Ill Health I. The event is organized by the Biennale Matter of Art in collaboration with the Institute of Anxiety.
Peter Kolárčik is a student of the Academy of Fine Arts and a musician. In his lyrics, he reflects on his everyday survival in a world of cheap appliances and expensive rents, in a system built on constant economic and personal growth. With exaggeration, he thematizes internalized pressure for productivity, the housing crisis, and the miserable job prospects of an art school graduate. He will play an acoustic set in the garden of the Institute of Anxiety with his friend Christopher Pauliny.
