The workshop is open to people with diverse bodily experiences and body-minds.
The dancing body as a space of resistance, imagination, and joyful connection. Let’s explore how we can dance together, intertwine, pulse, and vibrate. We’ll talk, but we’ll also move. Let’s try to let movement act like compost—a place of both decay and transformation, where layers of experiences, emotions, and encounters slowly mix, warm up, and create fertile ground for something new. Drawing on Silvia Federici’s essay “In Praise of the Dancing Body,” we’ll explore the politics of the body and the subversive potential of dance and movement in dialogue with other authors. You don’t need any movement skills or experience—just a desire to play and move according to your own abilities. The workshop is open to people with diverse bodily experiences and body-minds. The text is in English; the workshop will be in Czech. Come and discover.
